Welcome to this week’s meeting of the eClub of the State of Jefferson.
I am Bob Gibson, President of the Rotary eClub of State of Jefferson. Welcome to this week’s meeting. I hope this finds you well.
Your eClub has been busy. Last week we met with John Allman and received an update on our service project with the Navajo Nation. An event is being planned, starting on June 7 in Chinle, Arizona. It will be an opportunity to participate in this great project. If you are interested, please let John Allman or me know. There are limited accommodations and arrangements need to be made.
We had a Coffee Chat on Saturday. It was a wonderfully informal conversation covering a number of topics. It is a great chance to have the kind of relaxed conversations we might have at a traditional Club meeting. The Coffee Chats are going to continue. I will let you know when we schedule to next one.
We also had a meeting about our eClub Foundation. There is a strong consensus that it has real value to our eClub. The eClub Foundation can be used to receive donations for our service projects. We are working to bring the Foundation Board up to full strength. If you would like to serve as a Director on the eClub Foundation please let me know.
Today we have our monthly Board meeting. I invite all members to attend. Your Board provides support and direction in many areas. I truly appreciate the passion and energy they bring to the table.
