I am Bob Gibson, President of the Rotary eClub of State of Jefferson. Welcome to this week’s meeting.

We had another general membership meeting last Saturday morning. Many thanks to our member, Dan Smith, for a wonderful presentation about his firsthand observations from Ukraine. He provided real insight into what daily life is like for Ukrainians living in the context of war. The humanitarian crisis is real, and the challenges are great.
Bruce Garrett and Greg Brown are working on policies and procedures for our Club Foundation. It is important that we have a stable framework that provides for consistency and transparency in responding to requests for resources and support. It will strengthen our accountability to everyone involved. Most importantly, we will be accountable to our donors.
Your Club Board of Directors is meeting today, Thursday, July 20. If you read this in time, please consider attending. Our Club is more successful with your active input.
