What is your vision?
By now, you’ve probably heard about the dues increase. They tell me this is the first increase since the club began. We all apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Before this increase was even on the table, we were developing this plan to use tech to overcome some of our greatest challenges as an eClub. We hope you will stick with us over the next couple of months and give us a chance to try something we think is pretty exciting.
The first step is for us to define our core values and chart a course through this “unknown territory.”
- Why do we exist as a club?
- What would be lost in our community or in our world if we ceased to be?
- What are we passionate about?
- What do we have and do better than anyone else does?
The answers to these questions don’t come from me. They don’t come from the board. They come from you.
Over the past few weeks, we have explored some of the options we can use to add some excitement and maybe a little fun for the club. But, before anyone spends the hours to build something we need to know if you even want it.
District Governor Cindi O’Neil has agreed to take time out of her busy schedule to help us define our vision. This is a great honor and we hope you will join us.
If you have an hour or so on a Saturday morning, before you head out for the day, that would be great. The Visioning is scheduled for Saturday, June 19 at 8:30am. We will email you the link so you can add it to your calendar.
This is probably one of the more important meetings you will have all year. We are at a crossroad and need you to tell us what you want us to do for you, for the club, and for Rotary.
