A Sample of comments we've received

• I visited the State of Jefferson Eclub. I thought the clubs websit was very well done. I especially appreciated the catalogs of the recordings of previous meetings. I liked them on Facebook and I checked out their facebook page. They are a new club so everything was fresh information but it was inclusive and informative. I think these guys have done a very good job and it will prove very useful.
• I have made up at rotary Club One in the past.  I have also visited the new e-club in our district 5110. The Rotary eClub of the State of Jefferson. As a new provisional club it is very current and up to date. I am so busy attending my club meetings and district functions, that I do not need to spend time at eClubs for makeup purposes.
• I had visited an eClub a few years ago not knowing the extent of what it really was. I was surprised to find out that they are actual clubs in their own right. I looked at our own District’s eClub. It was organized in a fashion that was easy to understand and I was happy to know that we have a presence in the eClub world. I also went to eClub One. It was the only eClub that I was aware of until now. I liked that one could get a global perspective on Rotary instead of just in the US. They are talking about the same things that we all deal with…membership, projects, information exchange, etc. I am not sure of how many people are aware of wide variety of offerings to make up when you can’t attend your own club. Given all this, it is very relevant and useful. I will pass this information along to help promote the opportunities to make up a meeting and gather great information through eClubs.
• Rotary’s e-groups are fine example of effective social media.  I have looked into Rotary e-Club One and our local Rotary e-Club of the State of Jefferson.  I personally cannot see that belonging to such a club replaces the warmth and cameradery of a traditional Rotary Club.  However, I like their web pages.  The pages are active with frequent updates.  None of the content I have reviewed seem stale, and it appears that web traffic is brisk.  Good and active libraries and forums, and it is easy to spend quite a bit of time there while visiting.
